about me
I live and work in Berlin. I write, I paint, I name things that want to be seen.
I didn’t plan to become a visual artist. But in 2020, after finishing two novels, I ran out of words.
What came instead were colour ghosts. Creatures. Faces. Memories with limbs.
They showed up in the clouds of ink on my fingers. I let them stay.
Since then, I’ve been painting almost every day.
I work with mixed media – often on leftover surfaces – using acrylics, ink, pastel, found texture and spontaneous gesture.
Sometimes I try to stay abstract. But something always insists on coming through.
My work is guided by instinct and observation. I follow what appears.
Sometimes a shape becomes a character. When it does, I give it a voice. A page. A stage.
This is where they live now.
